The Music Behind Bottone
At Bottone, our dedication to design extends beyond visual aesthetics to the realm of sound. For each of our eight meticulously crafted furniture pieces, we have composed and produced a unique musical piece. Drawing formal inspiration from the furniture itself, we have captured and sampled sounds directly from the objects—whether it’s drumming on aluminum, the crisp snap of a zipper, or the nuanced tones of various materials.
These sounds are then woven into our compositions, played back through a classic ’90s Discman to evoke a sense of nostalgia and craftsmanship. This fusion of auditory and visual elements blurs the lines between design, craft, and culture, creating a multi-sensory experience that is uniquely Bottone.
