After training as a craftsman, Simon Busse studied Industrial Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and at the Design Academy Eindhoven under Richard Hutten and Gijs Bakker. Stations in Barcelona at the Gonzalo Milá design studio and the Xavier Claramunt architecture firm confirmed him to found his own studio in 2005.

Since then, the studio has been designing and developing projects ranging from serial industrial products to individual furniture objects and staged spaces. The range of tasks is as varied as the scale and the clients: security concepts and products are created for Abus, furniture for the office area for deSede, exhibitions for the state of Baden-Württemberg and in the Workhouse by USM, Simon Busse dived into spatial concepts of future working environments in an unconventional setting with his workshop guests. The studio‘s work has been published many times in print and online magazines such as Financial Times, Detail, Stylepark, Icon, Grid and Design Report, and has won awards and been exhibited internationally.

Teaching has become another important focus for Simon Busse over the years. That is why he has been a lecturer at international universities since 2011 and passes on his experience in workshops, seminars and design consultancy – since 2021 as Visiting Professor of Industrial Design at Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Applied Sciences.

Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano is an interdisciplinary designer specializing in industrial design, interior design, and design consultancy. Ferrazzano established Studio Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano, his own studio in 2009, where he translates his design philosophy into practice. Born in Germany to Italian parents, Ferrazzano seamlessly integrates influences from the design epochs of Bauhaus and Italian Postmodernism into his creations.

His passion lies in hands-on design, approached with an open mind and a constant focus on fresh perspectives. This involves the diligent and conceptual development of every design. With a fervor for crafting exceptional creations, Ferrazzano effortlessly navigates the realms of furniture and interior design, striking a harmonious balance between rationality and artistic freedom. His works are a testament to the fusion of Italian experimentation and German reduction. Within his portfolio, proportions, statics, material choices, and arrangement seamlessly merge into a logical unity. Ferrazzano‘s creative journey represents an expression of design finding harmony, where the lines between logic and aesthetics blur, giving rise to stories that deeply resonate with the core of the human spirit.

Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano founded together with his brother Michele Ferrazzano the label Bottone in 2024, where he serves as the creative director and also as a designer for products.

His work has been exhibited worldwide, including in Milan, Shanghai, Moscow, among others.
